Jil Sander Men Spring-Summer 2016 – 

Inspired by the tranquil aesthetic of spring, Jil Sander toughens up ditsy floral prints with hyper-masculine Doc-Martens as the shoe of choice. Fusing the masculine and feminine components of spring , the collection sees denim ankle swingers with floral cuffs and emblazoned culotte shorts feature heavily across the catwalk .  The ditsy floral print is iconic , featuring on items such as boiler suits , cuffs, denim shirts and mini rucksacks. Each outfit combines the beauty of spring  with the practical ‘utility’ aesthetic , where double breasted shiny lapel jackets are layered with neutral shirts, matching shorts and long socks.By infusing the beautiful with the practical Jil Sander understands his target audience: a young working man who has an individual personal style. The individual appearance of each model diversifies each suit , shirt and accessory  to the maximum and the practicality of the range is synonymous with London’s equivalent YMC.
