MAKE-UP: Black Eyeliner
Black eyeliner never goes out of fashion, but that doesn’t mean it always has to look the same. This season designers have gotten creative with black eyeliner, experimenting with different shapes and styles.
Cat flick
The classic cat flick style was kept simple at Prada, whilst at Oscar De la Renta and Celine it was bold and graphic. Celine’s was accompanied by detached eyeliner on the bottom, creating a more unique look.

Fine
Over at Pucci, the black eyeliner was finely applied and allowed for the model’s eyes to stand out. The perfectly fresh, feminine daytime look.

Glamorous
Meanwhile, Saint Laurent transformed the look from day to night with heavy black eyeliner surrounded by smouldering dark eye shadow.

MAKE-UP: Bronze

Perfect match
This season’s designers showed how bronzer works on any skin tone. The key is choosing the right shade to compliment your hair colour and complexion. For example, at Michael Kors the models’ fair hair and skin is matched with blusher that has slightly rosy undertones.

Meanwhile, the models with warmer skin tones at Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Versace wear a more peachy tone of bronzer.

MAKE-UP: Natural Make-up
Don’t be shy to stick to the bare minimum and opt for ‘au naturel’. This season, the detail is in the lips.
Glossy
Models at Chloé and Stella McCartney put their best pout forward with a slick of clear gloss. Glossy lips at McCartney were matched with the models’ fresh, dewy glow.

Powder pink
At Kane, the skin was flawless and the lips were the sweetest pink.

Neutral
Meanwhile, Donna Karan demonstrated that a little dusting of face powder and a slick of neutral lipstick could go a long way.

HAIR: Accessories
From springtime florals to an innovative “crocodile tail”, accessories come in an abundance of styles this season!
Headbands
Sweet and simplistic was the theme at Tracy Reese. The sleek ponytails were finished off with a two bands of nude and black satin for a ballerina chic style. At Bottega Veneta, the loose hairstyles were lightly sprinkled with a row of tiny blue flowers.

Large flowers
Elsewhere, the flowers were bigger and bolder. A pair of traditional red roses adorned the low chignon hairstyles at Dolce & Gabbana. Meanwhile, the unusual “crocodile tail” running the length of the ponytails at Fendi was topped with an oversized, abstract lotus flower.

Golden
Some of the Dolce & Gabbana chignons were decorated with jewelled gold barrettes with hints of red adding an oriental touch. At Valentino, the half-up half-down hairstyles were delicately embellished with a charming crown of golden sea motifs.

HAIR: Braids and Twists
A timeless trend, braids are back this season in the form of tight cornrows and loose plaits.
Tight cornrows
The tight braided styles at Jean Paul Gaultier and Armani were bold and edgy. Armani’s models were given highlights for a more interesting look.

Tousled mini plaits
Elsewhere, the hair models’ hair was more carefree. A popular theme was the messy, tousled look completed with a mini plait. The plait at Michael Kors was at the nape of the neck;

whilst at Webb and Wang it was swept to the side.

At Alberta Ferretti, the centre-parted hair flowed with natural waves creating a soft, romantic look.

Edgy bob
Marc Jacobs decided to fit his models with short, choppy wigs for a bold and defined look. Similarly, Tom Ford’s models wore short wigs that were rough and rugged thanks to sweeping side bangs and a bit of backcombing.
