Sateen Repeat

Sateen repeat is a non-directional pattern. It is made up of lots of repeats of the same motifs, facing in many different direction. The motifs are arranged in a rectangular grid whereby each row and column only has one instance of the motif. This rectangle is then repeated. It is called Sateen repeat as the repetition of the motif resembles the construction of Sateen weave.
