Agent Provocateur casts Naomi Campbell in pulp fiction-inspired campaign

The brand’s creative director Sarah Shotton was fascinated by girl gangs and 1960s pulp fiction novels, and intrigued by the idea of the perfect crime.

Inspired by David Lynch’s “Lost Highway” and Brian de Palma’s “Body Double,” and the idea of a woman’s many facets described by the brand as “coy, duplicitous, siren, saint,” this is Ellen von Unwerth’s first campaign for the brand.

“Naomi and Ellen were perfect for this as they both have such strong, individual personalities that work very well together. We chose Ellen as her aesthetic mirrors the sensual, mysterious undertones of the campaign concept impeccably,” explained Shotton, adding that Naomi was equally “witty, gorgeous and confident. She is a natural femme fatale.”

Dressed in a selection of pieces from the new Spring/Summer 2015 collection, with her riding crop in hand, Campbell plays a hitwoman you won’t be able to escape from in the images.
